Movies Anywhere quietly announced that Google Play and YouTube no longer participate in its cross-platform library syncing, a move that appears linked to Disney’s feud with Google. The notice, dated October 31, coincides with Disney-owned networks like ABC and ESPN leaving YouTube TV amid a contract dispute and missing titles across Play, YouTube, and Google TV. Existing Google-linked libraries still show previously synced films, though new purchases no longer sync, and access remains via services like Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
