One week into the blackout of ESPN, ABC and other Disney channels on YouTube TV, frustration is mounting as viewers miss college football and Monday Night Football. A Drive Research survey of 1,107 U.S. streamers found 24% have canceled or plan to cancel, 30% may switch to ESPN Unlimited or Hulu + Live TV, and 82% say they’re likely to cancel if the standoff continues. Most blame both companies. YouTube says churn remains manageable and disputes the survey. A proposed $20 credit hasn’t persuaded most respondents, only 30% of whom said it would keep them from leaving.
