Former Meta interface designers Mina Fahmi and Kirak Hong unveiled Sandbar's Stream, a ring billed as a "mouse for voice" that records whispered thoughts with a press and hold on the touchpad, chats via an in-app AI, organizes notes, and doubles as a media controller. Preorders open at $249 silver or $299 gold, with shipping slated for next summer and a Pro plan free for three months, then $10 per month, for unlimited chats and notes. Sandbar says users control their data, with encryption and export options. The startup raised $13 million from True Ventures, Upfront Ventures, and Betaworks.
