Google is updating the Pixel-exclusive Sounds app to version 3.3, bringing a Material 3 Expressive refresh and 18 nature recordings to the Sound Matters collection, including cicadas, cuckoos, and a dawn chorus captured in Wild Hokkaido. The 11 sound collections now feature abstract, Dynamic Color-themed artwork, along with tidier bars and a properly placed overflow menu. The rollout of build 825845788 is now widely appearing for older Pixel devices; earlier, it was seen on the Pixel 10 series. If the update doesn’t surface in Google Play due to a system-app bug, users can open the app’s listing directly.
