Braselton, Ga. Charlie Woods now shares one honor with Tiger Woods: the Benjamin School junior was named an AJGA first-team All-American, joining 11 other boys. He won his first big title at the Team TaylorMade Invitational in May. Miles Russell, 17 and a Walker Cup alternate this summer, was selected player of the year for the second time. On the girls side, Aphrodite Deng, a Canadian living in New Jersey, earned player of the year after winning the U.S. Girls Junior and two big AJGA events. Teams were determined exclusively by Rolex AJGA Rankings as of Oct. 14.
