Buffalo School Stages Surprise Ceremony for Principal

In Buffalo, principal Brianna Lanoye’s repeated wish to invite her entire school to her wedding turned into a heartfelt surprise. Days before her real ceremony, staff dressed her in a makeshift gown and led her into the Buffalo Academy of Science courtyard, where more than 400 students and staff watched Lanoye and fiancé Zach Klapp exchange vows and candy ring pops, with a student officiating. Lanoye, blown away, laughed at teasing that she loves students most, calling the moment everything she wanted and hoping they felt just as loved.
