Stars of daytime TV gathered at Pasadena Civic Auditorium as the Daytime Emmys rolled out the red carpet today. Host Mario Lopez leads a lineup of presenters spanning soaps to talk and culinary, including Deidre Hall, Scott Clifton, Carla Hall, and Ross Mathews. The broadcast will salute television legends: Deborah Norville receives the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Star Jones and Jane Elliott enter the Gold & Silver Circle. The ceremony also debuts new honors—Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series, and Outstanding Regional Content in a Daytime Genre.
