A car belonging to investigative journalist Sigfrido Ranucci exploded outside his home in Pomezia, south of Rome, late Thursday, destroying his car, damaging another vehicle and the front gate, but injuring no one. Anti-mafia magistrates opened an investigation as Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni condemned the blast as a serious act of intimidation.
