Award-winning astrophotographer Josh Dury captured Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) over Somerset ahead of its Oct. 21 approach to Earth. His Oct. 12 Mendip Hills image shows a bright green coma and long diffuse tail, formed as solar heat drives sublimation and the solar wind pushes debris away from the sun. Working through haze and high wind, Dury photographed the scene. Now about magnitude +4.9, the comet may be visible to the naked eye from dark sites and should brighten before fading for over a thousand years.
