A U.S.-led coordination center in Israel is set to begin operating within days to oversee Gaza’s ceasefire, security, aid and rebuilding, U.S. officials said. Led initially by an unnamed three-star general with a foreign deputy, the center sits just northeast of Gaza at a non-military site open to international partners. Trump has sent 200 U.S. troops specializing in logistics and security to support the effort, which is reaching initial operational capability. The White House says an International Stabilization Force is taking shape, with Indonesia, Egypt, the UAE, Qatar, Azerbaijan and others offering roles.
