TIME unveiled a cover headlined "His Triumph," lauding Donald Trump’s role in the Gaza ceasefire. The president blasted the low-angle photo, saying it "disappeared" his hair and emphasized his neck. Podcasters Michael Wolff and Joanna Coles agreed the shot was unflattering; Ron Filipkowski mocked it. Wolff said Trump remains fixated on TIME and even cleared campaign time for the magazine; Trump posted mid-flight from his Middle East trip. White House communications director Steven Cheung called Wolff a liar. Trump is nearing a record for TIME covers, including Person of the Year in December 2024.
