DALLAS — Ryan Niblett’s 75-yard punt return in the fourth quarter broke open the Red River Rivalry, as Texas beat sixth-ranked Oklahoma 23-6. Arch Manning went 21-of-27 for 166 yards and hit DeAndre Moore Jr. for a go-ahead 12-yard score to start the second half. The Longhorns, now 4-2, kept the Golden Hat and avoided a loss that likely would have ended any realistic playoff chance. Oklahoma’s John Mateer threw three interceptions 17 days after right-hand surgery, and the Sooners managed 258 yards. Mason Shipley made field goals of 22, 48 and 39 yards, missing from 55 and 56.
