US Army Accepts $1M Donation Amid Shutdown | JQJO

The US Army is accepting a $1 million donation from the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) to cover travel and lodging expenses for senior leaders attending a professional development conference in Washington, DC. This comes as active duty forces face a missed paycheck due to the government shutdown. The AUSA, a nonprofit professional development association, typically donates funds for the conference, but the recent donation is in addition to the usual amount due to the shutdown's funding challenges.
