Insta360 has introduced a new $250 Mic to bridge the price gap between its Mic Pro and the more affordable Mic Air. The device is a pared‑down version of the Mic Pro, featuring a cost‑saving design that eliminates the receiver dongle, making it easier to connect to small cameras or phones. Reviewers report that the Mic delivers clear voice capture, with optional presets such as Rich Voice for podcast‑friendly presence and Bright for outdoor use. Noise‑reduction performs well in both indoor and outdoor settings without noticeable artifacts. The Mic also supports connecting up to four microphones to a single receiver, allowing each mic to output its own audio channel for detailed post‑production editing. The launch expands Insta360’s creator‑oriented product line, which already includes the Luna Ultra, Luna Pro, and Mic Pro.
