Warner Bros Motion Picture chairs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy have announced a sequel to the near billion-dollar grossing hit, 'A Minecraft Movie'. Jared Hess will return to direct the sequel, set for release on July 23, 2027. The original film, which starred Jason Momoa, debuted with a record $163 million domestic opening and has since grossed $424 million, making it the top film of 2025 at the domestic box office.
