Death Row Inmate Maintains Innocence Ahead of Execution

Anthony Boyd, 53, who has been on death row in Alabama for three decades for a 1993 murder, maintains his innocence, stating he did not participate in any killing. Boyd, who is set to be executed later this month, spoke at a rally organized by the Execution Intervention Project. He was one of four men convicted in the murder of George Huguley. Boyd's lawyers claim he was at a birthday party the night of the murder. Boyd, who chairs an anti-death penalty group, is scheduled to die by nitrogen hypoxia, a controversial execution method.
