Shapiro Backs PA Justices in Pivotal Court Race | JQJO

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is actively campaigning for three Democratic Supreme Court justices facing retention votes this November. He warns of "real threats to our freedoms," highlighting their role in protecting abortion access and other rights. The race is seen as critical for future redistricting, presidential elections, and the 2028 presidential race, with both parties heavily investing in the outcome. A loss of the Democratic majority could empower Republicans ahead of key future decisions.
