Hostage Deal Hope: Netanyahu Eyes 'Coming Days' Release | JQJO

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed hope for hostage releases from Gaza "in the coming days," stating Hamas will be disarmed. This follows Hamas agreeing to a US peace plan for hostage exchange but omitting disarmament. Indirect ceasefire talks are scheduled for Monday in Egypt. US President Donald Trump urged Hamas to act quickly, emphasizing the deal's urgency while Israel confirmed readiness to advance the plan's first phase. Despite cautious optimism, significant obstacles remain, including Hamas' demands for full Israeli withdrawal and guarantees against renewed conflict.
