Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) is nearing Earth and may become visible to the naked eye in October. Discovered in January, the comet has significantly brightened, raising hopes for visibility. It will make its closest approach on October 21st, 89 million kilometers away, before reaching perihelion on November 8th. While currently visible through binoculars, astrophotographers are capturing stunning images of its nucleus and tails. Its future brightness remains unpredictable, but its journey is part of a long, elliptical orbit.
