Senator Tillis Slams Trump's Blue State Funding Cuts | JQJO

Senator Thom Tillis criticized the Trump administration's decision to cancel billions in funds for blue states, warning it could worsen the government shutdown and erode trust for future compromises. The move, led by budget chief Russ Vought, aims to punish Democratic-led states, with Chicago infrastructure funding among the latest to be paused. While some Republicans expressed unease, leadership defended the executive branch's actions. The shutdown persists as Democrats reject Republican spending bills, with no end in sight.
