Qualcomm launched new Snapdragon X Series chips for laptops, including the ultra-premium X2 Elite Extreme for complex workloads and AI processing, boasting multi-day battery life. Two X2 Elite variants (18 and 12 cores) offer up to 31% faster speeds and 43% lower energy consumption than predecessors. Qualcomm claims these are the fastest and most efficient Windows PC processors. Laptops with the X2 Elite chips will arrive in the first half of 2026.
