Ghost of Yotei Review: Excellent but Not Top Tier | JQJO

Ghost of Yotei, the latest installment in the popular Ghost series, has received an 87 Metacritic score, surpassing its predecessor's 83. While this is considered a very good score, it places it behind nine other highly-rated games released this year, making it unlikely to feature prominently in Game of the Year discussions. Critics praised its engaging story, stunning visuals, and diverse open world, though some noted a potentially outdated formula. Despite mixed reviews, its high score makes it a worthwhile purchase for PS5 players.
