Allstate's annual iPhone drop test reveals the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro's durability. Both phones feature Ceramic Shield 2, exhibiting similar bend resistance (190-200 lbs). However, six-foot face-down drops shattered both displays, despite remaining functional. The iPhone 17 Pro's aluminum frame fared better in back-down drops than the iPhone Air's titanium frame. Overall, both new models show significant improvements over last year's models, though cases and screen protection are still recommended.
