Trump Library Coming to Miami | JQJO

Donald Trump's presidential library will be located in downtown Miami, adjacent to the Freedom Tower, a landmark significant to Cuban refugees. The location, chosen by the Trump family, was selected over other Florida sites, including Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University. The decision was partly influenced by the Freedom Tower's historical significance and waterfront proximity. The Florida Cabinet will formally approve the land allocation next week, initiating the library's construction. This decision follows state legislation removing local oversight of presidential library construction, a move partly driven by past disputes involving Trump's flagpole.
