Musicians Boycott Disney Over Kimmel | JQJO

Musicians Sarah McLachlan and Jewel withdrew from a Disney documentary premiere in solidarity with Jimmy Kimmel, whose show was canceled by Disney-owned ABC after conservative backlash. The red carpet was mysteriously canceled, followed by the artists' decision not to perform, citing support for free speech. Other celebrities, including Cynthia Nixon and Marisa Tomei, have publicly canceled their Disney+ and Hulu subscriptions in protest of Disney's actions, triggering a wider boycott movement.
