Kimmel Show's Future Uncertain After Suspension | JQJO

Jimmy Kimmel Live! faces an uncertain future after being indefinitely suspended by ABC following controversy over Kimmel's comments. Cousin and show writer Sal Iacono hinted at significant news this week on Bill Simmons' podcast, suggesting the show might not return. While Iacono remained tight-lipped due to staff concerns, he expressed confidence in Kimmel's future prospects. The suspension stemmed from backlash over Kimmel's monologue about the MAGA response to Charlie Kirk's assassination attempt. Discussions between Kimmel and Disney executives are ongoing.
