California Floods Claim Child's Life | JQJO

A two-year-old boy drowned in Southern California after his family's vehicle was swept away by floodwaters during torrential rain. His father was rescued. Mudslides triggered by the intense rainfall also stranded 10 people in the San Bernardino National Forest area, though no injuries were reported there. Several mountain communities were significantly impacted, with one home in Forest Falls sustaining major damage from fallen trees. Authorities conducted damage assessments and issued an evacuation warning, later lifted, as more storms were anticipated.
