Equipment issues, specifically a telephone outage at Dallas TRACON, caused significant flight delays at Dallas Love Field and DFW Airport on Friday. The FAA implemented ground stops at multiple North Texas airports. Delays were expected to last until at least 5 p.m., extending to 10 p.m. for American Airlines at DFW.
