Colbert Defends Kimmel Amidst Disney Censorship | JQJO

Stephen Colbert defended Jimmy Kimmel after Disney pulled Kimmel's show from its ABC stations. Colbert, during his Late Show monologue, mocked Disney's decision and championed free speech, referencing FCC Chair Brendan Carr's criticism of Kimmel's comments about the Charlie Kirk murder. Colbert's support comes after Kimmel's show was preempted following his remarks, and after Colbert's own show was canceled earlier this year. The late-night hosts share a close friendship, having collaborated during the recent writers' strike.
