Kamala Harris's new memoir, "107 Days," details her frustration with running mate Tim Walz's performance in a vice-presidential debate against JD Vance. Harris reveals Walz wasn't her first choice; she preferred Pete Buttigieg but felt his candidacy presented too much of a risk given her own identity. Walz, caught off guard by Vance's unexpectedly amicable approach, struggled to counter Vance's points, leading to a disappointing debate performance. Despite this, Harris assures Walz the debate had negligible effect on the election.
