Spanberger Gains Key GOP Endorsements | JQJO

Democrat Abigail Spanberger's Virginia gubernatorial campaign received endorsements from two former Republican Congresswomen, Barbara Comstock and Denver Riggleman. The endorsements, including a campaign ad, highlight Spanberger's bipartisan approach. This move comes ahead of early voting and contrasts with Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears's campaign, which frames the election as a choice between 'sanity and chaos.' The Virginia governor's race is considered a key indicator of national political sentiment, particularly given the current political climate and the state's recent shift toward the Democratic party.
