Daniels' Knee Injury Clouds Commanders' Outlook | JQJO

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels' status for Sunday's game is uncertain after suffering a knee injury in Thursday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. Coach Dan Quinn stated Daniels is day-to-day and undergoing a return-to-play process. The injury, possibly sustained on a scramble, required an MRI. His availability depends on regaining leg strength and mobility. Backup Marcus Mariota is prepared to start if needed. Several other Commanders players, including Austin Ekeler and Deatrich Wise Jr., suffered season-ending injuries, adding to the team's injury woes.
