King Charles III attended the funeral of Katharine, Duchess of Kent, at Westminster Cathedral. Queen Camilla was absent due to acute sinusitis. The service, the first Catholic royal funeral in modern times, included a message from Pope Francis praising the Duchess's charity work. Senior royals including the Prince and Princess of Wales were in attendance. The Duchess, who died earlier this month at 92, was remembered for her kindness and dedication to various charities and her love of music. Her coffin will be taken to Frogmore, Windsor.
