ICE Raid Leads to Multiple Arrests in Elgin | JQJO

An early morning ICE raid in Elgin, Illinois resulted in several arrests. The operation, witnessed and shared on social media by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, involved multiple law enforcement agencies including the FBI and U.S. Marshals. Videos show individuals being led away in handcuffs following what residents described as an explosion and a helicopter circling the neighborhood. While Noem cited offenses like DUI, felony stalking, and assault, it remains unclear if those charges relate to those arrested. A rapid response team is monitoring for further activity.
