Notre Dame's Playoff Hopes Dwindle | JQJO

Notre Dame's College Football Playoff hopes are severely jeopardized after a 41-40 loss to Texas A&M, leaving them 0-2. Their chances of reaching a 10-2 record and securing an at-large bid are slim, given the competitiveness of other teams and the new playoff selection criteria. To have a chance, Notre Dame needs to win its remaining games against ranked opponents NC State, USC, and Navy, while hoping for significant losses among top teams from the SEC and Big Ten. The expanded playoff format, initially seen as beneficial for Notre Dame, now presents a steeper challenge.
