James Gunn's upcoming Superman sequel, "Man of Tomorrow," is slated to begin filming in April 2026. The film will focus equally on Superman (David Corenswet) and Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), who must collaborate against a larger threat. Gunn, who also revealed he's completed the treatment for the subsequent film in the "Superman Saga," described the story as much a Lex Luthor movie as a Superman movie, expressing a personal connection to Luthor's character.
