Wu and Kraft Advance in Boston Mayoral Race | JQJO

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and challenger Josh Kraft will face off in November's mayoral election after winning the preliminary election. Wu, seeking a second term, and Kraft, formerly of the New England Patriots Foundation, secured the top two spots. Their campaigns have highlighted differing views on issues such as stadium renovations and the city's response to drug addiction. The preliminary election follows a lawsuit against the city by the U.S. Justice Department regarding its sanctuary city policies.
