Zelenskyy: Trump Gave Putin What He Wanted | JQJO

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy criticized President Trump's Alaska summit with Putin, stating Trump gave Putin what he wanted—a meeting. Zelenskyy rejected Putin's proposed meeting location in Moscow, emphasizing the need for increased Western pressure on Russia to end the war. He highlighted the importance of halting Russian energy imports and securing lasting peace, not just a ceasefire. These comments followed a record Russian drone attack on Ukraine, killing civilians. Zelenskyy defined victory as Ukraine's survival and preservation of its identity.
