Vance's Killing Comments Condemned | JQJO

Republican Senator JD Vance's comments supporting extrajudicial killings of cartel members by the US military have drawn sharp criticism. Vance defended a recent military strike in the Caribbean that killed 11 alleged drug traffickers, stating it was the military's 'highest and best use'. His remarks were condemned by Senator Rand Paul as 'despicable and thoughtless'. The strike, part of escalating tensions between the US and Venezuela, involved the deployment of additional military assets to the region, raising concerns about a potential wider conflict. Donald Trump has vowed further action against drug traffickers.
