President Trump threatened a Section 301 trade investigation against Europe, citing discriminatory fines levied against US tech companies like Google and Apple. He reacted to Google's €3.5 billion EU antitrust penalty and Apple's significant back tax payments, claiming these actions unfairly harm American investments and jobs. Trump alleges Google paid $13 billion in false charges and Apple $17 billion in fines, demanding repayment for both companies. This follows a White House dinner with tech CEOs, where praise for Trump was expressed.
