Graham Linehan, co-creator of Father Ted, was arrested at Heathrow Airport for allegedly inciting violence through social media posts on X (formerly Twitter). The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest of a man in his 50s, relating to April 2025 posts. Linehan, who confirmed the arrest on Substack, was released on bail pending further investigation. He claims the posts were jokes challenging men entering women's spaces, and the stress of the arrest led to a hospital stay.
