Your PC Too Loud? Noctua's 5-7dB Quieter Hack!

Framework's Desktop, while not having upgradeable RAM, is designed for customization. Noctua, a PC cooling company, created a 3D-printable fan duct and side panel that significantly reduces the computer's noise. This upgrade uses a specially designed spiral grill, also used in their Seasonic power supply, to lower fan speed without impacting airflow. The grill's unique design minimizes pressure fluctuations, leading to a 5-7 decibel noise reduction. This mod requires a 3D printer but offers a noticeable improvement in quiet operation.
