Ohio State claimed the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25, their first regular season top ranking since 2015. This follows their victory over Texas. Alabama, conversely, fell out of the top 20 for the first time in 17 years after losing to Florida State, who entered the rankings at No. 14. Other notable shifts include LSU rising to No. 3 after beating Clemson, and Texas dropping to No. 7. The rankings are expected to be volatile in the coming weeks, as several teams face challenging matchups.
