Attorney General Pam Bondi fired a Justice Department employee, Elizabeth Baxter, for allegedly flipping off National Guard members in Washington D.C. Baxter, a paralegal specialist, was reportedly seen and heard using vulgar gestures and shouting at the guards multiple times. This is the second employee Bondi has fired this month for disrespectful conduct towards law enforcement. The first, Sean Dunn, threw a sandwich at a Customs and Border Protection agent. While Bondi initially sought felony charges against Dunn, he was only charged with misdemeanor assault. Bondi's actions come amidst President Trump's crime-reduction efforts in D.C., which have faced criticism.
