La Tomatina, the world's largest food fight, took place in Buñol, Spain on August 27, 2025. Thousands participated in an hour-long tomato battle, turning the streets red. Originating as a spontaneous event in the 1940s, it's now a globally famous festival held annually on the last Wednesday of August. Participants hurl overripe tomatoes at each other in a fun, chaotic spectacle.
