Must-See! 7-Episode Thriller: Hero vs. Thief? | JQJO

Brad Ingelsby's new HBO series, "Task," follows an FBI agent, Tom (Mark Ruffalo), and a Robin Hood-esque robber, Robbie (Tom Pelphrey), in a cat-and-mouse game. Unlike Ingelsby's previous hit "Mare of Easttown," "Task" is an ensemble drama exploring the lives of various characters, including Tom's team and Robbie's crew. The series delves into the theme of inherited trauma and the impact of parental actions on their children, showing how their pasts affect their present actions. The series premieres September 7th on HBO and Max.
