Is THIS Election Official REALLY Qualified? | JQJO

Heather Honey, a conservative election researcher whose flawed findings were used by Trump to challenge the 2020 election results, has been appointed to a key election integrity role at the Department of Homeland Security. Her past work involved inaccurate analyses of voter data, fueling right-wing attacks on voting procedures in states like Pennsylvania and Arizona. Experts criticized her methodologies as flawed and biased. This appointment, created under the Trump administration, raises concerns about the department's credibility and its potential to spread misinformation, rather than combat it. The appointment comes amid other similar appointments of election conspiracy theorists within the administration.
