Netflix's US and Canada scripted series division has a new head. Jinny Howe, previously Head of Drama Series, replaces Peter Friedlander after 14 years. Howe, known for her work on shows like "Bridgerton" and "Beef," has quickly risen through the ranks since joining in 2018. Friedlander, instrumental in shaping Netflix's original series strategy, will depart to pursue other opportunities, potentially returning to producing. Both Bajaria and Howe praised Friedlander's contributions and expressed excitement for the future.
