Texans running back Joe Mixon, injured before training camp, will miss the first four games of the season. He's been placed on the reserve/non-football injury list. This means Mixon won't play against the Rams, Buccaneers, Jaguars, and Titans to start the year. Nick Chubb is expected to start in Mixon's place. The team hasn't given a timeline for Mixon's return, and his job security is uncertain once he's healthy.
