South Korea Purge? Trump Threatens Trade War! | JQJO

President Trump expressed concern about a potential "purge or revolution" in South Korea, threatening to halt trade with the country. This comes before a White House meeting with South Korea's new president, Lee Jae Myung. The situation follows the recent impeachment of South Korea's previous leader, Yoon Suk Yeol. Despite previous trade agreements, Trump's comments cast doubt on the future of US-South Korea economic relations. The meeting will likely address key issues like semiconductor manufacturing and the continued presence of US troops in South Korea. Lee's recent visit to Japan also highlighted regional tensions and potential alliances.
